The Circular Feed association promotes the use of moisture-rich feed materials that are produced and distributed as a co-product by its members, including the agricultural, food and fermentation industries. The wet form in which the co-products are produced is characteristic of these feed materials. Direct sales of these feed materials makes drying unnecessary, allowing producers to save energy and reduce their CO2 emissions. This does not matter for the consumers of these feed materials, the Dutch pigs and cows. They produce valuable foodstuffs such as milk and meat from these moisture-rich feedstuffs. In this way, the chain of food and ingredient producers, together with livestock farming, make a significant contribution to a cleaner environment and sustainable agriculture!

The Circular Feed association is an association of producers and distributors of moisture-rich feed materials. The association was started in 1988 under the name Consultation Group Producers of Wet Veevoeders, abbreviated to OPNV and was legally established in 1995. The association promotes contacts between companies/members and organizations that can support the sector, in the broadest sense of the word. . The association tries to achieve this goal through consultation with stakeholders from governments and other chain partners. Where necessary, the Circular Feed association participates in other entities for legislation and quality.
